Maurice Lacroix just presented in Miami the AIKON #tide - a bright and funky range of watches, offered in eye-popping colours.
The AIKON #tide is helping to make the oceans a little bit cleaner, thanks to a revolutionary technology that converts discarded plastic waste into this new watch. The bezel, case, case back, crown, end-piece and buckle all contain #tide ocean material.
Packaging is also from #tide
And, this makes us especially proud, Maurice Lacroix also asked us to provide a sustainable packaging solution made from 100% #tide ocean material.
So instead of being sold in a classic watch box, these colourful timepieces are presented in a special edition of our OceanMug, which again is wrapped up in an OceanBag.
It takes 17 bottles to make one fabulous watch and its tailor made packaging, 100% made of #tide ocean material®.
And that's not all: Maurice Lacroix also committed to save 10 Million bottles from polluting the ocean by supporting our projects in Thailand: Maurice Lacroix' contributions help us to clean up beaches and islands, build new warehouses, buy longtail boats for the transportation of plastic waste and create educational projects. That's what a drope makes is their call. For us, it's a massive drop. Thanks for supporting the local communities!
